What matters to you

You’ve likely been told what to believe and who to be for a very long time.

We will explore your experiences and help you gain tools to help you reconnect with yourself, as well as move forward from religious trauma.

What it’s like to work with me

In our sessions together, you get to show up as you are.

Literally, all parts of you are welcome in my office. Likely you have conflicting parts of you that are uneasy about you exploring faith & religious experiences….especially with a therapist!

Faith transitions turn your world upside-down.

Your identity, value, time, money, purpose, community & more can all be called into question and leave you scrambling for answers.

As you explore your faith, there is NO agenda. I will provide you with ample space and compassion as you explore your own path forward.

No matter where you are on your journey —- if you are just starting, or have been on this path for years, you are welcome here.

My core values

authenticity

I lead with authenticity. I’m not the therapist for everyone, and I’m okay with that. When I’m the right fit, we do good work together. I value genuine connections with my clients.

compassion

I personally & professionally know how devastating a faith transition can be. You’ve experienced enough people having expectations on you. I invite you to trust that I can bring compassion for you without an agenda.

Empowerment

I never tell clients what to do. Likely, you’ve been put in a box or told what to do for a long time. Working with me means that you will slowly learn to trust your own gut, reconnect with yourself and learn to live outside the box.

Safety

With a felt sense of safety, your nervous system will allow you to do deeper work. You’ll learn to listen to your own inner knowing regarding what you need to access this felt sense of safety with me.

“I will not stay, not ever again

- in a room or conversation or relationship or institution that requires me to abandon myself.”
